Flow cytometry technology can quickly measure, store, and display a series of important biophysical and biochemical characteristic parameters of dispersed cells suspended in liquid, and can sort out designated cell subgroups according to the preselected parameter range . Currently widely used in clinical medicine and basic medical research fields such as immunology, hematology, oncology, cell biology, cytogenetics, and biochemistry. In recent years, with the rise of CAR-T cell therapy, flow cytometry, as the upstream of its industry chain, is widely used in T cell sorting, transfection and other steps.

The pre-processing of flow cytometry involves antigen or antibody labeling, incubation, washing, mixing and other steps. Due to the inevitable human error and antibody loss in the detection process, in order to reduce various wastes caused by human error, at the same time To improve the efficiency of sample processing, the introduction of automatic sample pre-processing systems is a development trend in the future.

03 Experimental data

The sample pre-processing of flow cytometry is very important. The process is neither like a complicated NGS nor a high-throughput biochemical test, but it also needs to ensure that the process is accurate, the operation is consistent, and the data is reliable, repeatable and traceable. We have compared the difference between instrument operation and manual operation (accuracy rates are 99.85% and 99.22%, respectively). The data obtained by automated instruments have better uniformity (refer to the figure below) CV values are controlled within 4% (n=16).
