NGS hybrid capture automation solution

NGS hybrid capture is a detection method that designs specific probes for the genomic region of interest, hybridizes it with genomic DNA, enriches the DNA fragments of the target genomic region, and then uses high-throughput sequencing technology for sequencing. The introduction of an automated liquid processing platform in this method can greatly increase the processing throughput and free researchers from repeated and complicated experimental work.

Remarks:

1.      The part with orange background is a manual operation step. Because hybridization involves concentration and freeze-drying, automatic steps cannot be realized, so manual operations are used before and after the steps.

2.      To prepare 1× hybridization eluent, manually prepare 1× hybridization eluent, and then pour it into the corresponding reagent tank of the workstation.

3.      Automatically complete the hybridization capture process at the LH-1808 automatic liquid handling workstation

Step 1: Open the software and select the "hybrid capture" program

Step 2: Take 16 post-hybridization libraries as an example (up to 48 post-hybridization libraries), arrange the deck, as shown in the figure below

 

Step 3: Click "Start" to run, and the program will run.
