LH-1808 is a full-automatic liquid handling workstation from tubes to plates, tubes to tubes or plates to plates, based on directly loading blood collection or sample tubes. Combined with the 1-/4-/8-/16-/32- channel pipetting heads and the liquid volume range of 0.5-1000µL, it can flexibly handle different sample throughput and different application, realizing the full automated process of qPCR fluorescence detection. The workstation can integrate code scanner, liquid level detection module, heater & cooler, shaker, blood component recognition module, magnetic separator.

The workstation has 30 standard bases. The super large space and flexible deck design makes many applications. The deck can combine 4 * 24 samples collection holder and 25 standard bases to realize the experiment workflow of fluorescence quantitative detection from sample transfer from original sample tubes to plate to nucleic acid extraction to qPCR set-up. The deck of 30 standard bases can used for high throughput sample processing, such as batches of sample transfer or sample screening or NGS library preparation and etc.
XYZ axis 3D structure, with multi-functional mechanical arm, positioning accuracy up to 0.1mm, which can meet the precise positioning of the pipette heads in the 96-well plate and the 384-well plate, and accurately grasp/move/drop the plate each time.
The pipette precision is reliable and efficient with air displacement. The barrel of pipetting heads use high hardness, light alloy material with wear-resistant coating on the surface, which is not easy to be damaged in long-term use .
It integrates heating and shaking functions into one, makes effective deck space, and meets the application requirements of shaking and heating at the same time.
The barcode scanner and the liquid level detection are integrated as a whole, this compact structure design reduces the space waste. The barcode scanning and the liquid level detecting operate simultaneously to save time. The code scanner is suitable for one-dimensional code and two-dimensional code. The liquid level sensor adopts ultrasonic to detect the height of the liquid level. The software can track samples in real time and analyze the height of liquid level.
The structure design is clever. Four tubes as a group, the tube with highest liquid level as a reference, other three tubes are elevated through a module to make the liquid level of four tubes in the same line. It can realize 4 samples transfer in parallel with the 4-channel pipetting head.
It’s the unique super-conducting thermal VCM® module from Inheco Company ODTC®. The heating performance is optimized, the temperature in all wells is consistent at all times. Temperature uniformity error between wells is within +/ -0.2k at 55 ° C, 72 ° C and 95 ° C. Horizontal removable cover seal prevents accidental infection of ODTC® instruments and completely avoids cross contamination. With flexible applications, ODTC® can meet the requirements of repeated heating and cooling required in any molecular biological workflow, and prevent the evaporation of reagents during this process, such as NGS library preparation, Sanger sequencing, any experiments with temperature change flow, various enzyme reactions, hybridization, etc.
With one-dimensional/two-dimensional code scanner, it’s convenient for sample information tracking to avoid human input errors, supporting EXCEL sheet import and export. CCD high-definition imaging technology was adopted to automatically identify the buffy coat, separate the upper serum components without white blood cells. 24 blood samples were processed each batch, with different pipette heads to meet the requirements of different volumes transfer.
It’s a low-cost triple closed cavity module. Chamber 2 is at room temperature, the temperature of chamber 1 can be controlled at 6℃ to room temperature, and the temperature of chamber 3 can be controlled at room temperature to 110℃. Moreover, it is a closed chamber with small temperature fluctuation. This module used for temporary storage of enzyme reagents in chamber 1, volatile substances such as alcohol or light -avoiding reagents in chamber 2, incubation of enzyme reaction in chamber 3. It’s not only reduce the equipment cost, and also realize the fully automatic process for certain biological experiments.
